Lend a Helping Hand
How to Help
Although Puerto Rico is in the midst of a financial crisis and still recovering from natural disasters, which are still affecting many lives on the island, we believe together we will overcome any challenges presented. Lend a Helping Hand to Puerto Rico and work as a team, building a more prosperous and educated Puerto Rico. In uniting our efforts, we will achieve much more than imaginable and the youth of Puerto Rico will be able to attain the tools they need to improve Puerto Rico's future. Volunteers are needed on a daily basis remotely or physically present, both long and short term.
We currently have four projects running simultaneously that we seek funding and volunteers for, alongside our organizational operations and operation costs.
Our volunteer programs include: limited lodging for eight volunteers via a mission home in Aguadilla, food and ground transportation on the island if you choose to stay in or near our mission home in Aguadilla. Please feel free to contact us via email or phone if you have any questions or concerns.
If you would like to volunteer please contact us at: info@helpinghandsforpuertorico.org

Lend a helping hand in the USA!
After ten years of successfully presenting and hosting the largest Latino festival in the Hudson Valley, we are re-directing our efforts to launch a permanent, sustainable initiative for our community, known as the American Latino Cultural Center. Though our focus is shifting, the commitment to our mission remains vital. This center will bring together Latino families, community leaders, and partners who are united by a shared commitment to cultural pride, American values, and the spirit of opportunity that has long defined our great nation.

Helping Hands at work!
